Q. How easy is it to Install and program?

A. Very simply, add the batteries and set the date, then you will be given preset program options designed to suit a bedroom environment or living room environment, select and then install you are ready to go!

Q. I don’t want to use the preset options, I want to customise my time?

A. Within the menu option select Custom (CUS), it will provide 1,5. 7 day options and also allow up to 3 set periods

Q. How Does the Auto Daylight saving time adjustment work?

A. The i-temp has an automatic time adjustment that will compensate at spring and autumn clock changes

Q. What happens in the valve over summer time?

A. Over Summer The customer can close the valve permanently (OFF) or, in case the heating is off, you can open the valve completely and save battery power.

Q. How does the head pin adapt to the valve pin? Does it self adjust?

A. Yes, i-temp adjusts it self on installation and also completes a self test every week (Sat. 12:00pm)

Q. Why would you need Offset value, if the valve is accurate?

A. An offset option is available if a room has many variable factors to contend with i.e. PC, small radiators, large room, large windows, a measure of a plus/minus can be set to compensate the temperature to gain further accuracy.

Q. What happens when the valve is not in use?

A The valve never completely closes, however the valve will reduce it’s flow to allow the minimum energy efficiency setting programmed, and in addition the lowest setting is 5 deg C (frost setting).

Q. What happens when the valve is not programmed and the heating is turned on?

A. You can override any temperature set on the TRV by turning up the wheel on that setting period, and the temp will increase within the room and stay on until you have turned off the heating, the temp will revert to the next period of heating

Q. What happens to the valve when the room reaches its desired temperature?

A When the valve reaches its temperature the valve will start to close, and as the temperature drops the valve will reopen to maintain the temperature set, this will cycle continuously within that set period. valve never closes the lowest the valve will be Minimum it will set is to 5c difference, it cycles to maintain that temp

Q. What do you do if you want to convert to a manual mode?

A. Press the menu button until Manu is being displayed. Set the temperature with the setting wheel – done. The temperature will then reset at the next heating period
